Production stories from the factory floor

Four recent projects, told the way they actually happened. Client names and identifying details are anonymised — the numbers and process are real.

A French running label’s sublimated capsule

A French running label’s sublimated capsule

The brief. A Paris-based running brand wanted an all-over gradient capsule — leggings and tops — but their previous supplier could not hold the print through stretch zones.

What we did. We moved the styles onto light polyester knit engineered for sublimation, ran the gradient in our in-house print room, and pressure-tested prints over maximum-stretch zones before approval.

The outcome. Samples approved on the second round; the capsule shipped by air and the brand booked a follow-up colourway the same season.

A Nordic yoga brand leaves its trading company

A Nordic yoga brand leaves its trading company

The brief. A Stockholm yoga label was scaling but couldn’t trace which factory actually made its bestsellers — sizing drifted between batches and questions took a week to answer.

What we did. We rebuilt their two hero styles from a reference garment, locked grade rules against their published size chart, and put every lot through in-line plus final AQL checks with photo reports.

The outcome. Batch-to-batch sizing stabilised and technical questions now go straight to the production floor — no relay through a middleman.

A Singapore pilates studio launches its own label

A Singapore pilates studio launches its own label

The brief. A boutique pilates studio wanted retail-quality sets for members — without holding big inventory or hiring a designer.

What we did. They picked two styles from our stock program, we applied their logo by heat transfer and packed retail-ready with their hang tags.

The outcome. From first swatch pack to garments in the studio took about five weeks door to door; a repeat order followed for a second colour.

A Dubai modest-activewear line, built from a sketch

A Dubai modest-activewear line, built from a sketch

The brief. A Dubai founder came with sketches for a modest activewear capsule — full-coverage lines with performance fabric, a category her local market lacked.

What we did. Our pattern room turned the sketches into tech packs free of charge, co-developed longer-line silhouettes on our seamless base fabrics, and adjusted coverage through two fit rounds.

The outcome. The founder launched with three silhouettes and now runs seasonal drops on the same blocks.

The pattern behind these cases

Details are anonymised by agreement, but the trajectory repeats: nearly every brand above started with a small validation order — 50 to 300 pieces on stock styles or a single custom development — and scaled after first sell-through, not before. The second order is where the economics improve: fit blocks are proven, colors are approved, and reorders on an existing knit program are the fastest, cheapest garments we make. What long-term clients optimise is rarely price; it is colorway depth per style, reorder timing against stockouts, and consolidating fabrics so new styles ride existing dye lots.

The lowest-risk way to become the next case: shortlist 3–5 styles from the stock catalog, fit-test samples on real bodies, launch 50 pieces per style with your branding, and reorder the winners deeper. Custom development joins from 300 pieces once demand is proven — the routes are compared in OEM vs ODM vs private label, and sampling logistics are on the pricing page.
