One-piece styles: small category, strong margins
Jumpsuits and onesies are a niche with unusually loyal customers: they solve the top-riding-up problem workout sets can't, and they photograph distinctively — which is why DTC brands use them as hero products even when sets drive volume. Seamless construction matters double here because a one-piece has nowhere to hide a bad seam.
Fit is the whole game: torso length tolerance is tighter than any two-piece, so plan one extra fit-sample round (budget 2–3 weeks total sampling). Check strap adjustability and whether the silhouette needs a shelf bra knitted in. Our jumpsuit styles run from 50 pieces with branding; because volumes are lower, most brands slot 1–2 jumpsuits into a wider collection rather than building around them — the launch guide covers assortment planning.
